RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults)
The Rite of Christian Initiation of
Adults (RCIA) is the rite of the Church by which those interested may become
members of the Roman Catholic Church. The Rite begins with a time of inquiry
for all who are interested in learning more about the practices and beliefs of
Catholicism. Following this period, those interested in pursuing full communion
with the Church begin the Catechumenate, which
prepares them to become Catholics through a process of prayer, reflection, and
catecheses. Anyone who is interested in becoming a Catholic or who would just
like to know more about Catholicism should contact Rae Svecz
or Sr. Marie.
